4) Mukandi Tsimaya – 1995
Mukandi Tsimaya was a 28-year-old Saudi player with Atromitos F.C. before he received a fatal elbow to the neck whilst playing Panelefsiniakos F.C.
Here’s a video of the incident… I found a few versions of the video online, all of them are really low quality and most of them say the player was killed by the “angel of death“. If this is the actual video Tsimaya’s response to dying really is mega odd. But I’ve not died before so I don’t know how I’d react.
