7) Humans (Homo Sapiens)

And the shittest of all the species: us. We are shit in a number of ways: humans are the only species on the list that if we were totally removed from the situation the environment would benefit hugely.

Humans started out their lives as a useful part of the food chain; we were snacks for wolves and bears, the shit we left behind in the cave probably fed other species; tics and lice had a gay old-time on our hairy backs. Now, however, we are redundant, but worse than that, we are destroying other species as we go.

I’m sorry to end on such a nihilistic note, but fuck it, it’s true. We are a scourge.
