6) Oldest Instrument
This ancient bone flute was made in Germany around 40,000 years ago. Wouldn’t you just love to know what sort of tunes they bashed out on it? I expect it was probably something along the lines of this epic/radical flute drop (45 seconds in):
Maybe not. I like to imagine our distant relatives having a disco dance to some mad flute but I’m fairly sure this particular instrument predates even the Bee Gees.
