2) Oldest Written Recipe

I would absolutely love to do a “Bill and Ted” and hang out with the ancients for a bit. It would be amazing to see how different/similar they were to us. Of course there would be a lot of uncommon ground but I reckon there would be a lot to chat about too. For instance, I bet that if they watched a video of a fat guy fall off a skateboard they would laugh. That has always been funny.

This recipe is a case in point. It’s the earliest recipe for anything that we’ve ever found, and guess what it’s for: beer. Alcohol and humans go together like Condoleezza and rice.

The recipe is Sumerian and dates to around 3000 BC, to put that in perspective, the mammoths died out after that tablet was made. That is one ancient brew dudes.
