New Investigation Reveals Nigel Farage Was Secretly Funded By Convicted Criminal

Nigel Farage is really neck deep in it now after a new investigation by The Sunday Times revealed he received significant, undisclosed financial and material support from George Cottrell AKA ‘Posh George’, a British aristocrat who has been convicted of wire fraud.

According to the report, Posh George, 32, is “a babyfaced British aristocrat and former US federal inmate, a key player in a crypto gambling platform implicated in potential illegal betting, owned via a complex offshore structure whose ownership is invisible to the public.”

“A web of undisclosed gifts and payments from Cottrell have helped pave Farage’s path to Westminster. Farage appears to have broken MPs’ rules by failing to declare that Cottrell provided funding for his operation in the year before his election.”

Cottrell, who reportedly refers to Farage as “Daddy”, paid for the Reform leader’s security, transport, drivers, and three social media staff.

Farage would also routinely stayed at Cottrell’s five-storey townhouse near Buckingham Palace.

So aside from the £5 million crypto “gift” that he never declared, Farage also failed to declare the total amount that Cottrell bankrolled him with.

Reform UK claim that no parliamentary rules were broken and that Cottrell’s support covered a period before Farage was an elected politician, during which time he was operating as a media personality.

However, House of Commons rules require newly-elected MPs to register any registrable non-earnings benefits received in that prior 12-month period, within one month of taking office. From the sounds of it, Cottrell’s funding fell within that period.

No joke, this could actually be game over for Farage. I mean, we already knew he was corrupt and a bit of a grifter, but with this latest evidence, beyond the £5m bung from the other month, it sounds like he’s royally screwed.

And who knows if there’s more to come? The British press are absolutely ruthless when they smell blood in the water. Reform well and truly in the mud, it seems.
