Imagine waking up and being able to order a batch of the delicious Greggs sausage rolls straight to your front door. Well, it turns out this dream is set to become a reality as Greggs are launching a delivery service. Yes you read that right.

The bakery chain are initially rolling out the service in Newcastle with the intention to expand it to the rest of the country if it all goes well (which of course it will – they love their Greggs up north). The branch in Cobalt Business park will be delivering everything from steak bakes to delicious cakes. Amy Carroll from the Cobalt shop said:
I am sure Greggs Delivered will provide a popular choice for our businesses catering for meetings and for people who just fancy a team lunch.
This service adds to a host of fantastic lunch options staff at the park have to choose from – they will be spoilt for choice!

Talk about living the dream. As said, if it’s a success they will be rolling delivery out around the country, with London and Manchester next on the list. Can’t wait – nothing beats a baked bean and sausage melt for a Friday breakfast treat. And I’m sure the service charge will be equally as reasonable as their bakery prices.
