What a guy. Yeah OK you can have a go at him for wasting police resources and all, but come on, it’s Nantucket! The police are just hanging about twiddling their thumbs over there. Besides, the call operator was clearly happy to help and he didn’t even realise he was talking to the legendary Adam Sandler.

I wonder how they even realised it was Adam Sandler afterwards and then made the call public? I’m guessing the operator told someone about the weird call he got and then later found out Adam Sandler was on the island and put 2 + 2 together. Maybe someone told him they saw Adam Sandler shooting hoops with the locals down at Backus Lane?
In any case, no harm done, and just adds to the legend that is Adam Sandler. Incredible.
