Eurovision Star Look Mum No Computer Responds After Finishing Last With One Point
As predicted, the UK entry at this year’s Eurovision finished dead last; coming in at 25th out of 25 countries.
Look Mum No Computer – real name Sam Battle – did manage to bag one point from Ukraine, though. Which is one more point than everyone was expecting…
This has to be one of the worst UK songs ever in the history of Eurovision. What is this nonsense? It’s absolutely terrible. pic.twitter.com/8UbATIb3Ke

What was even sadder was that Sam was left sitting alone after being abandoned by his delegation, prompting the Danes to invite him over to sit with them instead…
Sorry but if I was Head of Delegation for the UK I wouldn’t have my act sitting on his own at the top of the Jury show (when points matter) and them having to be adopted by lovely Denmark after the flag parade. Thank you to the Danes. Sam we support you…#Eurovision #UK pic.twitter.com/r5zuGl7yFo

Following the event, Sam and his team shared a clip on Instagram graciously accepting defeat, where they all begin to chant ‘Eins point’, which I guess shows how seriously they took the whole thing.
In the caption, Sam wrote: ‘Bulgaria honestly deserved winner! Met a lot of amazing folk, the most important thing is we all tried our hardest. Regardless of what is against us.
‘Whatever it may be. Gotta keep trying your hardest regardless of the foooookennnn outcome!!!’
Yeah, good stuff mate. To be fair to the guy, it’s not his fault. All he did was come up with a crappy tune! It was someone else who decided it was good enough to represent the UK on the big stage at Eurovision. It was never going to make the left side of the leaderboard, let alone win the whole thing.
Still, at least Sam looked like he was having fun out there. Next time though maybe we can send someone who can belt out a tune? Just find someone with impeccable live vocals and see what happens.
