John Laurinaitis, Theodore Long, Johnny Ace, Teddy

MATCH 6: Team Johnny (David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre and the Miz w/ John Laurinaitis and Vickie Guerrero) vs. Team Teddy (Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder and Booker T w/ Theodore Long, Hornswoggle and Eve)

It seems that instead of the ‘Money in the Bank’ clusterfuck that we’ve had in previous years, we were ‘treated’ to a 12-man tag clusterfuck as John Laurinaitis’ ragtag team take on Teddy Long’s motley crew. Along with 12 actual competitors, we had general managers, cougars, hoeskis and even midgets in this hard to follow, ‘who’s on what team?’, ‘what the hell’s going on?’ kind of match. Honestly the only joy I got out of this match was how it wasn’t a match at all; it seemed to resemble more of nightclub riot, especially the catfight with Vickie Guerrero and Aksana, which make me feel like I was waiting on a taxi in Belfast city centre on a Saturday night.

The match eventually ended with a distracted Zack Ryder being caught by Miz’s Skull Crushing Finale and the winning pin, giving Laurinaitis full control of both Raw and Smackdown. The biggest blow however came after the bell as Eve delivered a kick to Ryder in the ballskis, ending their short-lived partnership. A fun experience, but ultimately it’ll blend into other multi-man matches featured on previous ‘Mania cards.
