5) Hummingbird Hawk-Moth
This guy is kind of cute, but only because you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s actually a bird. Macroglossum stellatarum both looks and sounds like a humming-bird, but he has exactly three times as many feet. These little troopers live in warmer climbs and are so heavy metal that they even fly about in the day and in the rain which is pretty rare for moths.
