3) Darth Vader Ant
Otherwise known as Cephalotes atratus this is probably the coolest looking insect in today’s line up. Not only does he have a fresh helmet, he also has super powers. Whilst falling through the air he can complete a 180 degree turn. This skill comes in pretty handy in the rain forests where they live. The ants often have to leap from branches to escape predators, but the last thing they want to do is reach the swampy and often flooded forest floor. So by maneuvering mid air they can ensure they get back to their base on the bark un-drowned.
