Patsy Palmer AKA Bianca Jackson from Eastenders has come a long way from Albert Square – now living it up in Malibu, California, after investing her BBC cash in property and doing pretty damn well off the back of it.

This morning, she turned up for a webcam interview on Good Morning Britain and didn’t seem like she really wanted to be there in the first place. Things only got worse when she spotted the ‘addict to wellness’ tag line under name:

Welp, clearly a touchy subject given her past addiction issues, which lasted all of 20 years. Probably not a wise move from the producer or whoever decided to use the word ‘addict’ to describe her on screen, even if it was in reference to something positive this time around.

Here’s what Patsy had written in her autobiography ‘All Of Me’ about her addiction battle:

By my 20s I was bingeing my life away on cocaine, ecstasy, and enough vodka and Laurent Perrier Champagne to quench a small village’s thirst for several hours.

I would be out of my head for two or three days in a row – whole chunks of time were lost. I took so many drugs I’m amazed I survived.

She kicked the habit in 2004, and given she now spends her days DJing around the California circuit, it’s pretty impressive she’s managed to keep off the nose beers to this day. You don’t invest all that time and energy into kicking a dangerous habit only to have an early morning TV show throw it back in your face, do you? No, you don’t. Fair play to her for shutting down the interview although like I said, it already seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else in the world. Rickkaaaayyy!
