Going to Glasgow any time soon? If so, you’ll want to avoid Paisley Road West; home to the grimiest, nastiest takeaways in the UK.

In fact SEVENTEEN takeaway outlets there have been served with food hygiene warnings – these include Indian, Italian, Chinese and Turkish takeaways along a three-and-a-half-mile stretch.

Twelve of them were given ‘improvement required’ notices last year and give more in 2016.

Environmental health chiefs have swooped on a series of Indian, Italian, Chinese and Turkish takeaways on Glasgow's Paisley Road West in the past year. Now the three-and-a-half mile stretch of road is in the running for the dubious honour of most risky place in Britain to buy a bag of chips. A dozen of the takeaways were slapped with "improvement required" notices last year and a further five premises have had them issued so far this year.

Among the guilty takeaways – The Night Palace, The Blue Sky, Super Chef and The Taste Of India.

One lady who’s ordering from The Blue Sky for 15 years and somehow hasn’t dropped dead said:

I’m honestly so shocked. I had no idea that the Blue Sky was like that, whenever you walk by it’s always so busy.

I would order Singapore Noodles with chicken from it usually but I can’t go back there any more.

Everyone knows that if you surf the Internet long enough and you’ll find plenty of horror stories on restaurants and takeaways. Brains in your KFC chicken. Pieces of actual shit in your soft drink. Dead birds in your salad. Nowhere’s perfect. 17 restaurants on one street though? That’s just a whole different ball game. It’s like they’re all conspiring to make shitty, potentially dangerous food together. Come on Paisley Road West, clean it up.

P.S. VERY surprised that this chef’s restaurant isn’t located there.
