MAD Festival In Belgrade

MAD have been advertising their forthcoming throw down with a massive 12 metre tall rabbit in Nikola Pasic Square in Belgrade. Designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, Riki the Rabbit is reason enough to give the festival a second look if you ask me.

Hofman, if you didn’t already know, is the guy responsible for that massive rubber duck that’s been sailing all over the world and confusing people over the last few months.

If the line up and huge rodent are enough to convince you that you need to attend, then this may well be your tipping point: the price.

For both days the event will set you back a tiny £40 which is beyond reasonable. If you can find a festival cheaper than that outside of Asia I’ll give you a free kiss on the lips. The beers are cheaper than your nan too, so by attending the festival you will probably save money. Any how, I’m off to get my ticket, here’s the official video with some more deets:
