The England squad have enough on their plate without having to be subjected to Ed Sheeran’s music, but someone seemed to think it would be a good idea to get the team together and have Ed surprise them with a private gig.

Judging by the clip going around, they were less than enthusiastic about it…

Or maybe it’s another sly tactic from FIFA and Gianni Infantino to destabilise the England team? It does seem like the bigwigs are keen for Argentina and Messi to win the whole thing, to be fair. Still, it could have been worse – what if Coldplay had turned up?
