Footage Shows How Jordan Henderson Suffered Serious Injury During England Celebrations
Jordan Henderson didn’t play a single minute against Mexico but still managed to get himself a yellow card + suffer a freak injury, which actually occurred during the celebrations at the end of the game.
The incident wasn’t captured on live broadcast, but footage doing the rounds online shows that he hurt himself as he tried to climb the advertising board onto the pitch.

According to Thomas Tuchel, it’s a really bad injury to his wrist:
Welp, that’s not good. Although I suppose he’s primarily in the squad to offer moral support for the rest of the team, who are less experienced, so that’s something he can still do even with his busted wrist.
Get well soon, Hendo!
