5. Katalepsy
In the world of Pornogore, if you don’t know what the band name means, chances are it’s going to be the technical term for some fucked-up medical condition. A quick Google search tells me that the name is most likely derived from the word “Catalepsy”, translated online as a “severe bodily condition, described in psychiatric pathology, marked by sudden rigidity, fixation of posture, and loss of contact with environmental conditions.” You can probably assume that the unfortunate victim of this sudden rigidity will at some point get raped and mutilated in the lyrics of one of Katalepsy’s songs. Perhaps they will even be subjected to a bit of “Sluggish Granial Grinding” much like their similarly titled song which you can check out here:
