Caroline Flack Says She’s ‘Queen Of The Cougars’ As She Stands To Lose Millions In TV & Ad Deals

“I’m Caroline Louise Flack and I’m Queen of the Cougars.”

Days after being arrested for beating up her boyfriend on election night (possibly over Boris winning?), Caroline Flack has stepped down as Love Island host, where she was due to earn £1.2 million per year over the next three years.

River Island also confirmed they’ll no longer be working with Caroline, after she’d worked on a whole bunch of collections with them.

According to the Mirror, Caroline has also released an open letter to her fans announcing she is “absolutely devastated” to be stepping down as Love Island host, and also addressed claims she is a ‘cougar’ by completely owning the title and in fact proclaiming herself Queen of the Cougars:

My current status is not just that I’m a cougar, I’m Queen Cougar, which I guess is something I’m supposed to be ashamed of. But I’m just not.

If ‘cougar’ is supposed to be some kind of insult, I’m taking control of that and turning it into a badge of honour. I’m Caroline Louise Flack and I’m Queen of the Cougars.

To be fair, she’s got the stats to back up that claim. Here are a list of the 40-year-old’s ex-boyfriends alongside the age gap between them:

Lewis Burton: 27 (13 year difference)

Harry Styles: 17 (15 year difference)

Andrew Brady: 27 (11 year difference)

AJ Pritchard: 24 (15 year difference)

Fair play to her for not being ashamed of her cougar status, but should maybe reflect on the domestic violence side of things. Still a legend until proven guilty.
