Woman Faces Death Penalty In Dubai After Holiday Romance With British Rapper Big Tobz

A Russian woman named Karina is facing the death penalty in Dubai after 17kg of marijuana were discovered in her luggage following a holiday romance with U.K. rapper Big Tobz.

Karina met Big Tobz in Thailand — and days later was detained in the UAE after airport security in Dubai found the drugs in a suitcase registered under her name.

According to the woman, the rapper asked her to check in the luggage, claiming it contained diving equipment. She was an unwitting drug mule who had been set up!

Following Karina’s testimony to UAE authorities, Big Tobz has also been detained. You see, he was travelling with her on that flight from Thailand, but I guess he thought it would be best if she was the one who checked in the suitcase with the drugs under her name.

In the end, they’ve both wound up in a Dubai slammer and are facing very serious consequences.

Karina’s parents are currently demanding a full forensic investigation, including fingerprint analysis of the suitcase and a review of airport CCTV footage to prove her innocence.

I’m not sure she has a prayer, to be honest, but let’s see how it goes. Even if what Karina is saying is true, everyone knows that the number one rule of international travel is to never under any circumstances check in a piece of luggage that you did not pack yourself.

Everyone also knows that the UAE does not play around when it comes to massive quantities of drugs, so there’s no excuse for not knowing better. How can it possibly be worth the risk to anyone with a brain?
