Two Officers Vs One Suspect Results In Unbelievable Police Fail In Handsworth, Birmingham
West Midlands Police already had one embarrassing incident this week, but this excruciating attempt at an arrest on Soho Road, Handsworth, might actually take the cake.
Two police officers struggle to apprehend a suspect who was failing to comply, and he eventually manages to grab one of their batons, bash one of the officers in the face, and then ride off to freedom:

Wow, just wow. The suspect even manages to take the baton with him! This auntie’s face at the end says it all, really…
It’s all well and good that we don’t really have the issue of overzealous police and police brutality in the UK, but it would be nice to find the middle ground between that and what we saw in this video. What, does a suspect need to be stabbed and bleeding to death on the floor in order for an arrest to be made? This was a humiliating display by West Midlands Police, plain and simple.
Let’s hope that officer is OK and that WMP can at least track the suspect down and get their baton back. Maybe send these two back to the police academy to learn how to use a taser or do an effective leg sweep. 2 Vs 1! Come on, lads. You’ve got to do better than that.
