Nil By Mouth
A Gary Oldman directed gem this movie features Ray Winstone and Kathy Burke at their best. The story itself features nothing more than a decaying household barely holding on thanks to Ray’s outbursts, both verbal and violent as well as Valarie’s (Kathy Burke) smack addicted brother making further waves throughout the family.
Featuring some truly shocking scenes of mental and domestic abuse it’s definitely one to watch, despite it being physically difficult to actually watch.
