Top Ten British Grit Flicks

The UK has brought out some modern classics over the last few years and detailed below is only a handful of what British Cinema has to offer.

Kill List

Kill List

Neil Maskell of ‘Football Factory’ fame stars as Jay, a hitman who is invited back by Gal, played by Michael Smiley, to action a ‘Kill List’ where they are funded to eliminate the three people on the list.  But as things progress Jay steps into a world that becomes more obscure and surreal the further he goes.

This has been billed to having a plot similar to ‘A Serbian Film’ but played out more tactfully. Don’t get me wrong, this movie has its graphic violence and scenes which you will find uncomfortable, but they are placed together tastefully enough not to leave a bad taste in your mouth or remove your own eyes after viewing.
