61-year-old Yazameenah Rossi looks so young for her age that she’s landed high-profile modelling campaigns for companies such as Marks & Spencers and JD Williams. You can see why – she looks better than most people look in their twenties.

In fact, Rossi did a ‘Blondie’ and didn’t even start her career until she was nearly 30, while most models have to hang their heels when they hit 21. Since then, her age-defying looks and striking white hair have helped her become more in demand than ever before.

Question is, how the fuck does she do it? While you might think that’s she’s sleeping with the Devil, Rossi puts it down to her beauty regime which simply involves rubbing olive oil on her face and rapeseed oil in her hair every day.

On top of that, she also makes a body scrub once a week out of olive oil and fine sugar. Now before you start rubbing salad dressing on your face, obviously part of the reason is down to having decent genes and a good diet too:

I come from a very simple background where we used olive oil to cook with. Olive oil was used on our hair and skin – nothing else.

My father’s mother died at 96-years-old, fit like a ballet dancer, and she never put anything on her skin.

My mother’s sister, who is still alive, has better skin at 90 than she did some years ago.

She discovered recently that her skin improved amazingly after she stopped putting anything on it while she was in hospital.

I never eat processed, frozen, microwaved or low-fat foods.

Most of the time I eat organic food and I cook it fresh everyday. I eat mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts and some good-quality fish and meats.

Shock – turns out that if you look after yourself and eat well, then you end up with good skin. Easier said than done when you’ve got shit like pizza ATM machines.
