It’s been a while since I’ve even thought about the name Hunter Moore, but back in the early 2010s you couldn’t really go on the internet without seeing some scandal that he was involved in either directly or via his notorious website IsAnyoneUp?

For those of you that don’t remember, Moore used IsAnyoneUp as a form of revenge porn, allowing scorned lovers to post nude pictures of their ex partners online for everyone to see with literally no repercussions. This went on for some years and ruined countless lives until an FBI investigation eventually determined that Moore had hired a hacker to break into people’s email accounts looking for salacious snaps and he was sentenced to 30 months in jail.
Now of course, there’s a Netflix documentary about Moore and the fight that activist Charlotte Laws embarked on to get his website closed down after her daughter was featured on it. Surprised that it took so long to be honest – here’s the trailer:

Yeah I can’t believe I’ve just completely forgotten about all that because it was such a massive deal at the time. Can’t wait to find out about it all again as the show dropped on Netflix today. Gonna be a good one I reckon. Kinda hard to believe that something like that even happened.
