Pretty basic, but this one usually gets 90% of us. Staggering out of an airport, tired and confused about where you’re going in a foreign land, so of course you head for the closest taxi rank. But beware, there are a lot of unlicensed, fake or even just dishonest taxi drivers that will overcharge you, take you the long way to your destination and God forbid, kidnap you and throw you on the European sex trade without Liam Neeson to save you. The best way to avoid this is to use common sense and book your transport in advance, easy.
