Dramatic scenes out of California today as the highway patrol found themselves chasing a runaway Chihuahua across the Bay Bridge.

Apparently the dog had escaped from its home in Oakland and was making a run towards San Francisco, where it was eventually captured without harm. Phew.

I only wish this Chihuahua had brought traffic to a standstill and led these cops on a chase for hours and hours because obviously even just the idea that armed police could chase a dog down the motorway is hilarious. I mean just look at this cop on his bike — blatantly thinking ‘is this what it’s come to? FML’.
