4. Starry Night Bicycle Path, Nuenen, Netherlands
Amsterdam seems to be the go-to place in the Netherlands, but just a couple hours south is a city named Nuenen where there exists a solar-powered bike path designed unlike any bike path you’ll have ever cycled on.
By day you won’t notice anything special about it but as soon as darkness falls over 50,000 lights illuminate in a ‘Starry Night’ pattern Vincent Van Gogh would be proud of. Spellbinding, especially if baked on your bike.
