Whether you like it or not, Jake Paul and his brother Logan have  changed the boxing game as their celebrity bouts against old UFC fighters and retired former champions have really captured people’s imaginations and I guess that’s why Mike Tyson has now come out and decided to get involved.

Tyson was speaking on his ‘Hotboxin” podcast when the possibility of his taking on Jake in a boxing match came up. Here’s what Tyson had to say about the idea:

Nobody told me that. Hey, I ain’t got no f**king money. So where’s the f**king contract?”

Listen, I’ve been smoking with [Paul] forever, I did some shrooms with him as well. But I’ve never heard this.

I was with him in St. Barts not too long ago partying and he never told me this.

I’ve never heard this from nobody, I’ve just heard this from you guys.

I would need a billion dollars to get in the ring with that guy.

OK, so that probably isn’t actually serious, but I’m pretty sure that if someone offered you a billion dollars to do literally anthing then you would almost certainly do it, right? That’s a billion fucking dollars bro.

Anyway, it seems like it’s very unlikely that there’s even the possibility that this could happen, as the biggest PPV of all time was Mayweather V Pacquiao back in 2016 and that ‘only’ grossed $400 million. Even with inflation, Paul and Tyson would have to really get on that hype train to come anywhere close to making that much money and that’s just not gonna happen because it’s a really dumb fight between a really old former world champion and an amateur boxer. Stupid.

The funniest thing about these comments though is that Mike Tyson and Jake Paul regularly get stoned and do shrooms together. What the hell do you think those guys get up to together when they’re partying in St Barts? Such an intriguing relationship.

For more of the same, check out Jake Paul listing a bunch of reasons why he can beat Conor McGregor. Possibly true these days.
