6) Big Money Brings Big Attention
Forgetfulness is certainly a trait I share with many of my co-humans. Forgetfulness and an unhealthy dose of lazy can get you in trouble. That’s what happened to Amanda Clayton.
Amanda won the lottery in Michigan, she got herself a million bucks and all was well with the world.
The problem was, she had “forgotten” to cancel the welfare cheques and food vouchers she was receiving. Amanda clearly didn’t need them anymore and the US court system was monumentally unimpressed with her perceived greed. She got 9 months probation but died of a suspected drug overdose before her sentence was up.
That’s not a very cheery story is it? So bear that in mind, stop claiming Job Seekers if you win, yeah?
