I’m not sure if we can say that Johnny Depp is Man Of The Year 2022 at this point, but he’s certainly managed to turn his whole life and rehabilitate his reputation more than anyone else I can remember quite frankly.

Not only has he shot a new movie, been tapped up to direct another one and announced a new tour with his band Hollywood Vampires next year but now it’s also been announced that he’ll be appearing at Rihanna’s upcoming ‘Savage x Fenty’ fashion show on November 9. Here’s what TMZ had to say about it all:

Our sources say Rihanna and her team invited Johnny to be a part of it, and both sides were super excited to make it happen.

We’re told Johnny has already filmed his part, and it’ll be included in the show’s premiere on Amazon Prime Video November 9.

As for how Depp will look, we’re told the vibe is ‘cool and chic’ and works for all aspects of Johnny’s artistry — music, modelling and acting.

He’s going to be a focus of one of the show’s ‘star’ moments, which has included the likes of Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu in the past and will be the first male star incorporated into one of the show’s ‘star’ moments.

Ok I’ll be honest and say that I’ve never even heard of Rihanna’s ‘Savage X Fenty’ shows before (OK boomer) but the fact is that if Johnny Depp is the first male in the ‘star’ moments segment then that’s quite a big deal for the guy. Another win for Johnny Depp!

However, I’m still fairly unsure how Depp has managed to beat the #MeToo movement when it seems like he was at least somewhat of a dickhead to Amber Heard during their relationship and that’s been completely forgotten and she’s pretty much dropped off the face of the planet too. Whoever is on Depp’s PR and legal teams probably deserve some sort of awards. Absolute masterclass in crisis management.
