People Are Desperate For McDonald’s To Bring Back Chicken Legend After Trying McCrispy

I’m not sure how clued up you are about your McDonald’s menu items, but recently they fobbed the Chicken Legend off in order to bring in the McCrispy – the first permanent chicken burger on the McDonald’s menu in over a decade.

Unfortunately, it seems like McDonald’s have made a gigantic mistake with this decision as the reaction to the McCrispy on social media has not been kind and people are actively campaigning for the return of the Chicken Legend instead. Here’s what a few people had to say on Twitter about it:

Yeah, of course there are some people that are saying they prefer the McCrispy, but that last tweet indicates that McDonald’s might actually be paying these people to make these tweets because they’ve been receiving so many complaints about it. Not sure if you can believe that, but the fact people are even tweeting it shows the level of hatred toward the McCrispy at this point.

So, will McDonald’s bow to peer pressure and bring back the Chicken Legend? I’m going to go with no. They seem to know exactly what they’re doing by bringing out these limited edition items that everyone loves, as it forces people to go to McDonald’s during that timeframe as it’s the only time they can get the foods that they crave after being away for so long. Genius marketing and everyone has seemingly fallen for it.

A better idea would probably be to just not eat at McDonald’s in the first place, but it continues to defy all logic and be absolutely packed whenever I walk past one. What is wrong with people? It’s not even that much nicer or cheaper than your local chicken/burger shop if you want some crappy cheap fast food. Madness.

Also, in case you hadn’t realised, I can’t contribute to the McCrispy V Chicken Legend debate because I’ve never had either. Hope it stays that way too.
