Messi Called ‘Embarrassing’ For Trying To Get Cucurella Sent Off For No Reason In World Cup Final

Argentina and Messi were desperate to win the World Cup, but they were completely classless in the way they went about it, playing dirty all tournament and even scrapping with the Spanish players after ultimately losing the final.

At one point in the game, Messi tried to get Marc Cucurella sent off for covering his mouth for a split second while talking to him:

Like a schoolkid running to the teacher ffs. Fortunately the referee brushed it off because that really would have been a scandal, especially with all the chat coming into the game about FIFA favouring Argentina for the trophy.

Well anyway, Spain won and Argentina lost and I think that’s the outcome most people were hoping for. Unlucky Messi and co!
