Manchester City won the Premier League title in dramatic fashion over the weekend, scoring three goals in five minutes after being two nil down to Villa and even though Jack Grealish didn’t get off the bench during the match, he wasn’t going to let anyone down with his celebrations.

Notorious party boy Grealish firstly showed up on Monday during the Manchester City open top bus victory parade, vowing to buy everyone in Manchester a Jagerbomb if they turned up at Albert Schloss’s that night, before grabbing a mic and dissing Bernardo Silva about his performance in the game before. He was so hoarse he sounded like he had been up all night drinking, smoking and doing gak – and he probably had.
Grealish then showed up at the victory ceremony at the Etihad with two drinks in his hands, before going on Bernardo Silva’s Instagram Live and saying that the only reason that they won the title was because Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo were subbed off during the game. I guess he probably forgot he already made that joke on the bus, but I suppose we can forgive him because he was so pissed and it is quite funny to be fair. It’s his first Premier League title after all too – the guy must be buzzing.
If that wasn’t enough, we then presume that Grealish stayed up all night again before catching a few Zs on the plane over to Ibiza, where he was pictured that afternoon at Wayne Lineker’s club. It just never stops.

Well he’s certainly having a blast isn’t he? It’s rare that you see a footballer so publicly cut loose because most of them try to keep themselves respectable when they win something so they won’t be labelled an idiot or a drunk, but it seems like Grealish just doesn’t give a fuck and is determined to enjoy himself. Fair play to him for showing us he isn’t a robot like some of the other people on that Manchester City team.
Anyway, I suppose some people will criticise Grealish because he barely played this season and only scored a few goals and bagged a couple of assists, only starting about half of the matches in the league. Considering he cost Man City a British record transfer fee of £100 million that’s a bit embarrassing, but then again he didn’t have much to celebrate at Aston Villa so maybe we should give him a break?
Also lots of players struggle in their first seasons under Guardiola as well, so maybe when he finally stops partying he might be able to come back next year and show us what he’s all about. Here’s hoping for the guy – imagine how hard he would be celebrating if he was actually an integral part of the team next year? Can’t wait to see it.
