This must have been an error? One of those ones where a mother forgets to put the guard on the clippers and ploughs into the hair before she realises. My other theory is that the kid wanted ‘curtains’ like his heroes on 90210, and this was the closest he could get with short Afro hair. Maybe we’ll never know for sure. And what’s the white dot by his left ear? Alien implant? Possibly.

I can smell this one from here. I used to frequent the same off licence in Manchester as a tramp with hair like this. It kicks up a real stink, but I suppose it also doubles up as a pillow and probably a weapon so at least it’s functional.
