It goes without saying that no one should take health advice from the Kardashians, but what if the Kardashians claimed their brand new vaginal health pills helped to make your lady parts smell and taste fresher?

Kourtney Kardashian’s new venture ‘Lemme Purr’ promises to do just that at $30 a bottle. Just pop a gummy and boom – pxssy power:

If these sound like snake oil pills it’s because they probably are, and it turns out medical professionals are not happy about this “grift” at all. For one, this supplement is not regulated by the FDA, which means you have to trust the brand when they tell you what’s in their product and the benefits it supposedly provides. Dr. Jen Gunter, a gynecologist and author of The Vagina Biblecalled out Kourtney’s on Instagram for perpetuating misogynistic tropes about stinky vaginas:

‘Anyone who suggests that your vagina isn’t fresh or needs an improved taste is a misogynist and awful person.’

Maddy Dann, a UK doctor who speaks about sexual health on TikTok, told BBC Newsbeat she’s worried that this product will trick consumers into thinking “entirely normal” vaginal functions are problems:

“Every person with a vulva or vagina is going to have a different odor, it’s going to have a different scent, a different taste and a different amount of discharge. And so what this product suggests is that every woman needs to have the same tasting, the same smelling, vagina or discharge, and that’s just not realistic.”

Who knows – maybe there’s a girl out there who’s been feeling a little yeasty and Kourtney Kardashian’s vagina vitamins are exactly what she’s looking for. On the other hand, maybe Kourtney’s vagina vitamins will somehow leave you smelling worse, or artificial, or like you never had a problem in the first place.

Just seems like another lame celebrity putting out another lame wellness brand. But what do you expect from someone who has already put out a candle that smells like her ‘orgasm’? Sigh…
