Domino’s Now Serving Pizza On A Chicken Base

Domino’s Pizza continues on its quest to provide the nation with the most disgusting yet delicious food in history by introducing the Speciality Chicken, which is essentially a pizza served on a base of chicken. There was some confusion earlier where it was thought that this was following their hot dog stuffed and cheeseburger stuffed crusts with a chicken stuffed crust, but we can confirm that it’s the base that will be made of chicken, not the crust. Whether that’s better/grosser or not, you tell me.

At its launch it’s being offered in four different flavours: Crispy Bacon & Tomato, Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple, Classic Hot Buffalo, and Sweet BBQ Bacon, which all sounds pretty good but which will probably kill you/cause your stomach to grow exponentially. Unfortunately for us, it looks as though these items will only be available in the US for the time being, but maybe if there’s enough demand for them over here they’ll send some over.

Of course, if you’re from way up north in Middlesborough, you’ll probably be questioning why anyone is even moaning about this because they’ve been doing it for years with what they call a Parmesan Hot Shot or PARMO for short. It’s basically a piece of chicken with cheese and pepperoni on top, so perhaps not quite as much of a speciality as the Speciality Chicken but it definitely provided the blueprint. If you need to try this immediately, I suggest getting up there now and trying one.

For the sake of comparison, here’s on advert for the Speciality Chicken and another video of someone talking about the life and times of the PARMO. See which one you think looks more appetising.
