Compliments For Every Premier League Team

Swansea City — South Wales’ answer to Barcelona. They play the football that most closely resembles Barca’s. They have a great young manager, a couple of lightning quick wingers and one of the best goalies in the league. Expect a Champions League win very soon.

Tottenham Hotspur — They’ve been North London’s best team this season despite their recent dip in form. They have the best English manager around (behind Roy Hodgson, Alan Pardew and Terry Connor) and have a midfield envied by nearly every team in the world. I can imagine spurs fans are going to have a very nervous summer (a few likely exits) but should they get through it they’ll challenge once more.

West Bromwich Albion — Under the stewardship of the gentleman of English football, Roy Hodgson, West Brom have become a team who are tough to break down and tough to defend against. A few decent signings in the summer and I can see West Brom doing next season what Newcastle have done this season.

Wigan Athletic — Wigan seem to have the most supportive chairman in the history of football. Ever. Injecting a shitload of his personal fortune to try to compete in the toughest league in the world as well as absolute faith in his manager, Dave Whelan is a shining example of how clubs should be run.

Wolverhampton Wanderers — They have certainly exceeded my expectations in that this is their third straight season in the Premier League. I hope for the fans sake that their players start to show the same type of fight that has maintained their Premier League status in recent years. It’s time Wolves lost their label as a ‘yo-yo’ club and became a Premier League mainstay.

I hope in some small way this article has helped to ease (not completely but maybe a tad) any tensions between rival supporters. Let us remember that football is just a game and people (myself included) shouldn’t get too emotionally invested in it. Friendly banter is great but it’s important that it remains friendly.

Peace and love y’all.
