Walter spends his cash on some medical breakthrough life saving technique, and beats his illness yet again, setting up shop in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire and going back into the meth business. Slowly his empire is built up again but he plays it cool this time, learning from his mistakes and keeping his distance at all times from any of the actual dealings. Walt dedicates himself to getting Skyler, and his family, back on his side. He makes huge donations to charity, he becomes the Robin Hood of the drug lord world, people flock to his old family home as some kind of shrine of anti-establishment power. After years of counselling Walt Jr drops his beef, Skyler realises she still loves him and the family is reunited, Walter gives up crime and they live happily ever after driving around in a Pontiac Firebird with a trunk full of drug money.
