So many people get their shopping delivered straight to their houses these days and normally these deliveries go off without a hitch – except for some questionable substitutions every now and again – but a woman named Molly has revealed how one delivery driver slid into her DMs after dropping her stuff off and left her horrified.

Molly lives in Northfield, Birmingham and had a short conversation with the driver after he delivered her stuff. He then proceeded to like a bunch of her photographs on her Facebook account and attempt to message her.

Here’s what she had to say about the incident:

When he delivered the shopping he was pleasant, absolutely fine and said thanks for shopping with us. He brought the shopping up to my flat and I said ‘thank you’.

It was a very small conversation we had.

He delivered the shopping to me and then later looked up my name on social media and tried to message me.

He just said ‘Hi’ then started liking photographs of me on my Facebook page, which to me insinuates something else.

It’s obviously a massive data breach.

I live on my own, I’m a young lady. It is really scary.

I called Morrisons but they seemed disinterested and said, ‘Maybe somebody will call you back about this’.

He also works part time as a taxi driver and

I thought, ‘if you’re doing that with me, what are you doing with the girls in your car?’

For him to take my name from my order and look me up on social media and contact me and like photographs of me… it’s just unreal.

But it’s really scary that Morrisons didn’t take it as seriously as I thought they should after I sent them copies of the messages.

Morrisons did not even apologise that this happened to me. I said, ‘You haven’t even apologised’ and they said, ‘Yeah well it isn’t really a customer service problem’. I said that it IS a customer service problem.

It’s obviously a massive data breach but Morrisons said it was a problem for the depot they use which they said was also used by Ocado.

Ocado were really good but there was not much they could do as the order was through Morrisons.

The company said they would get in touch with the depot and let them know what had happened.

But Morrisons, frankly, couldn’t give a c**p.

It’s the first time that I have ever ordered from Morrisons. I told them I was deeply disgusted that they were not doing anything about this.

She has got a point there really hasn’t she? It’s completely creepy when someone does something like that and Morrisons definitely should have done more to reassure Molly and stop this sex pest from working for them again. Probably need to inform his taxi company about the kind of stuff he gets up to in his spare time too.

Fortunately, it seems like he’s in the minority of delivery drivers and most of them are perfectly awesome and great at their jobs, so we can probably keep getting deliveries and not be too worried about it all. Keep an eye out for the freaks though.
