Woman Dies After Going For A Third BBL Despite Doctors Warning Her Not To

A Nigerian influencer has died after developing complications following a third Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery at a clinic in Lagos, Nigeria. And by developing complications – I mean her butt became infected and literally exploded.

Elena Jessica was warned by TWO hospitals not to go for a 3rd BBL round. Her skin was already tight, there was no more space, and the risk of infection and complications was extremely high.

Unfortunately, she found a dodgy clinic that accepts anyone as long as they can pay.

Two days post-operation, Jessica began experiencing severe pain and difficulty breathing. She was taken to an intensive care unit where doctors attempted to remove infected fat and address a bloodstream infection (sepsis).

Despite their efforts, she died. There’s footage going around X that shows her with the skin around her butt and thighs completely burst open. It’s too gross and horrific to share here.

Jessica’s third BBL surgery was intended to correct complications from the second BBL. A family member revealed that Jessica had been advised to remove the BBL entirely, but she chose to undergo corrective surgery instead.

Just goes to show – not every body is a candidate for endless BBL surgery. Your body has limits and usually it will give you signs. If you choose to ignore those signs, there will be decent doctors and hospitals who will also give you a lifeline by saying “NO”. If you still want to go ahead with invasive, potentially life-threatening surgery after that, then that is indeed a big risk to take.

Just such a sad, unnecessary tragedy. Let’s hope that Jessica’s story will at least make other young women think twice about the pros and cons of BBL surgery. Stick to squats, ladies.
