GRIME

Top 10 Forgotten Figureheads of ‘Grime’

4. Lil’ Nasty

The East London MC built his reputation upon being exactly as his name suggested, with continuous ‘hype’ tracks, and references to life as a law-breaker. His debut mix-tape in 2008 ‘Hungry Season’ personified this focus, with ubiquitous references to ‘eating’ or robbing to survive. The album included features from his brother, well-know grime artist ‘Griminal’, as well as other members of his ‘Nasty Crew’. More recently he has come back with a few freestyles after time out and judging by his lyrics not much has changed.
