Three Prisoners Who Stormed Cell And Murdered Child Killer Will Never Be Released

Three inmates at high-security HMP Wakefield have been handed whole-life orders – meaning they are guaranteed to die behind bars – for the cell murder of convicted child killer Kyle Bevan.

CCTV captured the trio shadowing Bevan directly into his tiny cell. In 4 minutes and 39 seconds, Bevan was pinned down and stabbed 25 times.

Bevan, 33, was himself serving a life sentence for murdering his partner’s two-year-old daughter in 2020, so he was always going to have a target on his back at a place like HMP Wakefield:

The three defendants who coordinated the fatal ambush include:

  • Mark “The Iceman” Fellows (45): Already serving a whole-life sentence for two previous gangland murders outside prison walls. He received a new, separate whole-life order.
  • Lee Newell (57): Similarly, Newell was already serving a whole-life order for a previous murder. The judge imposed another separate whole-life sentence.
  • David Taylor (64): Jailed for life with a whole-life term for this attack. He was on remand at the time for murdering his missing partner, 24-year-old Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin, and attempting to murder a police officer.

After the murder, they staged Bevan’s body in his bed, tucking him in to give guards the illusion that he was asleep. He bled out quietly and was not discovered until the next morning. The men shook hands and appeared “satisfied” after leaving his cell.

So yeah, let’s not act like these three men are heroes or legends in any way, shape or form, considering they’re all in there for murder anyway. Still, I don’t think anyone’s shedding any tears for Kyle Bevan, as it takes a whole other level of monstrosity to murder a child.

Question, though – WTF happened here?
