Ronaldo’s Sister Is Blaming His Portugal Teammates For Sabotaging Him During The DR Congo Game

Ronaldo dropped an absolute stinker Vs DR Congo the other week which resulted in the African nation securing their first ever World Cup point and leaving Ronaldo crying on the pitch at full-time.

It meant the ‘Ronaldo is washed’ crowd had another case to present for their argument that the 41-year-old legend probably should not be starting and playing 90 minutes if Portugal hope to progress in the competition.

Well, his sister Katie Aveiro has another view; that the entire Portugal team played sh1t and it’s very suspicious of them. Katie wrote on Instagram:

“Magically, they forgot how to:

• Pass the ball around

• Win the ball back

• Launch counter-attacks

The game became all about passing backwards in midfield… Strange World Cup. Very strange.”

Now obviously arguing with any Ronaldo fan, let alone his own sister, is a complete waste of time, but for the purposes of the blog; maybe the reason they were struggling so much is because they have an ageing Ronaldo up top and he doesn’t really offer them many options?

Not to mention – the one time Bruno Fernandes was loading up for what was sure to be a goal, Ronaldo got in his way and got completely fvcked it up because he was so desperate to score after watching Messi bag a hat-trick against Algeria.

Don’t take it from us though, even the GOAT Thierry Henry called Ronaldo out:

There’s no point telling any of this to Ronaldo’s sister though, who also liked a comment that said Bruno Fernandes played sh1t.

Ronaldo was always going to be an issue for Portugal at this World Cup, as it seems the manager is scared to drop him because he’s been the face of the national team for so many years.

Who knows, though? Portugal play Uzbekistan next, and you’d think that’s a perfect game for Cristiano to prove the haters and doubters and ageists wrong. Then again, are Uzbekistan any worse than DR Congo?
