Stormzy Tells People To ‘Suck His D–k’ Over McDonald’s Controversy In New Year’s Message
Happy New Year, everybody! Or rather, ‘suck my d–k’, if you prefer the New Year’s message that Stormzy has put out; addressing the McDonald’s drama from earlier in 2025.
In case you missed it, Stormzy caught a lot of flak for deleting his pro Palestine posts from social media, and then immediately coming out with an advert for McDonald’s promoting the ‘Stormzy Meal’, which features the UK rapper’s favourite items.
A lot of people were very disappointed in Stormzy (including his old pal Jeremy Corbyn) for collaborating with a company that sent free meals to IDF soldiers in Gaza. Stormzy dug an even deeper hole for himself by releasing a statement defending his decision to collaborate with McDonald’s, and then it was basically radio silence from the guy.

Well, Stormzy has now taken to Instagram to explain the effect the controversy had on him, hitting out at everyone who criticised him and telling them all to ‘suck his d–k’.
He wrote: “Towards the end of 2024, my life took a few unexpected twists and turns and I was forced to pivot.”
“So fast forward to the beginning of 2025 where I decide to do a McDonald’s deal – a decision that led a lot of you reading this to question both my character and my integrity.”
He continued: “See now…the younger me and I guess the ‘version’ of me you guys are more familiar with would have desperately wanted everyone to understand my reasons for doing it.”
“The Mike from yesteryears would of been compelled to quickly explain himself, and let you know that there is no world in which he would ever trade his humanity for cash. Whereas the newer Stormz couldn’t give a single f*** to explain that fact. F*** what you think and suck my d***, I don’t need to explain anything to anybody!”
Despite claiming he doesn’t need to explain anything to anybody, his sweary rant continues for about another 1,000 words, which you can check out here if you want.

So basically, Stormzy got nowhere when initially trying to justify and explain his McDonald’s collaboration when the drama first kicked off, and so now he’s pivoted to “suck my d–k if you don’t like it”. Which I guess is a lot more on-brand with his rap persona.
At the end of the day, he took McDonald’s money and ‘sold out’ his beliefs to make their advert, so he may as well own it and move on with his life. Everybody has a price, just like the Million Dollar Man said! Will be interesting to see how his new album does when it drops in 2026.
