Folk isn’t the typical genre of music that I usually blog (I think this is folk anyway), and it’s certainly not in-keeping with the Sick Chirpse style (the only time we blogged it was to diss non-folk types like Mumford & Sons), but what the hey, when I hear music like this I cannot help but share it with the world. Michael Cassidy is a singer-songwriter from Paisey in Scotland who I checked out whilst at work (working hard as I do), and on hearing ‘Everybody’s Scared’ I was immediately blown away by his voice.
