Relative Of British Travel Influencer Missing In Morocco Denies She Has Been Found
Well, now this is getting weird. Following the update earlier today that the British influencer missing in Morocco had been found, her cousin has now claimed she is still missing and that the family is desperately trying to find her.
Rachel Kerr, 31, from Dunblane, Scotland, has been missing for 5 days since checking out of the Caribbean Village hotel following a night of partying at SMART Nightclub in Hotel Agador.
Since checking out of the hotel, her phone has been switched off, her social media activity has been non-existent, and she hasn’t made contact with family or friends.

Reports earlier today indicated that she had been found in another apartment in Agadir and ‘wanted to stay on holiday’.
But her cousin, Claire Hill, has now denied these reports on a Missing People Facebook group post she made.
Claire wrote: ‘Despite statements from local authorities, to be clear, she has NOT been found nor is she in contact with her brother. Her brother is in Agadir looking for her and has not been able to trace her or make contact.’
In another reply to someone, she wrote: ‘Elaine Roberts, she has not been found. Family are in Agadir and have not been able to locate or make contact.’

In another response: ‘Laura Taylor, no, she has not been found.’
Very strange indeed. Why would the authorities over in Agadir lie that Rachel had been found? To protect tourism? Surely that’s just plain irresponsible and easily dismissed by Rachel’s family.
Rachel’s friend Alexis Shaw said overnight: ‘She is in mental crisis and a danger to herself.
‘The police are involved. She was last seen at Smart Nightclub 5am on Saturday.
‘She ran out of money completely on Friday. Please get in contact if anyone sees her, as police are trying to locate her to get her home safely.’

The story is really gaining some traction so I’m sure there’s a lot of effort being put into tracking Rachel down. You would think they’d have a decent idea of where she went by using CCTV (which is how they erroneously claimed she was found in the first place), but who knows what’s going on over there.
Here’s hoping Rachel is found safe and sound, hopefully even by the time you read this.
