Reform Candidate Refuses To Apologise For Saying He Wants To ‘Smell & Lick Carol Vorderman’s B*m Hole’
Reform UK’s candidate for the Makerfield by-election had a pretty rough time on Question Time last night.
Robert Kenyon is a self-employed plumber from Greater Manchester who transitioned into politics by positioning himself as the ultimate “anti-establishment, working-class” candidate.
On paper, it sounds good; a man in his 40s with a trade background going up against typical “career politicians” and Westminster types who lack real-world experience.
Unfortunately, like so many other Reform candidates before him, Kenyon neglected to wipe his social media history before arriving on the political scene. As such, people have dug up a bunch of racist things he Tweeted (standard) but apparently most controversially; this Tweet about Carol Vorderman…
Now in fairness to Robert Kenyon, he didn’t personally make the comment about smelling and licking Carol Vorderman’s b*mhole. Rather, he just agreed with it.
Still, it’s not ideal, and a big fuss has been kicked up over it, prompting Kenyon to be handed an opportunity to look down a camera and apologise to Carol Vorderman on Question Time last night.
He turned it down…

Sarah Wakefield, "I spoke to Carol Vorderman this morning, she's really distressed that you, Robert Kenyon, have failed to apologise for any of these… pic.twitter.com/tNUwBQfgje
Defending himself, Kenyon said: “You know what.. I never said anything to Carol. I commented on a comment. Don’t get me wrong it was a disgusting comment that someone else had written, but I commented on a comment.”
Fiona Bruce: “With approval?”
Robert Kenyon: ‘Pardon?”
Fiona Bruce: “With approval?”
Robert Kenyon: “It was a crass joke, it’s not something I’d say now”
Sarah Wakefield: “Every woman in this room and at home has been subjected to shaming, in person or online”
Robert Kenyon: “That’s disgusting, it’s horrible”
Sarah Wakefield: “He’s just proven my point. Can you believe this?” We have all been subjected to it, and the fact that a man like you cannot apologise, I think is disgraceful”
Robert Kenyon: “I’ve addressed the issue”
Sarah Wakefield, “On top of that, Reform UK’s policies on women are shocking. Reform on day one want to repeal the Equality Act”
Robert Kenyon: “No, no, that’s absolute nonsense”
Sarah Wakefield: “That’s Reform UK’s party policy. I can’t believe as a mum of a young daughter, I’m having to sit here in 2026, and make the case for me and my daughter to have the right to equal pay”
Robert Kenyon: “No, no”
Sarah Wakefield: “This is what the Reform party stand for. They are a party that has a problem with women. And they need to sort it out.”
Robert Kenyon, “No no”
*audience erupts in applause*
Welp, doesn’t really sound like he was prepared for that exchange. Which is surprising because it’s always going to be a pre-planned hatchet job any time a Reform candidate makes a live appearance on the BBC, so how could he not have been prepped to deal with it?
This guy is absolutely clueless. It’s embarrassing that he’s even allowed to put himself forward to be an elected politician. pic.twitter.com/PE8FBJo2Yr

Also on QT, Kenyon responded to the title of ‘sexist plumber’ by saying: “I won’t accept that label… I was brought up by women. I have nothing but respect for women.”
Previously, he had defended his comments on Carol Vorderman by telling Manchester Evening News: “It was a crude attempt at a joke to probably about 50 followers… if you go into any building site, I think you’d hear a hundred times worse said.”
All in all, it was fairly unsuccessful appearance on Question Time. Maybe one of the worst performances in Question Time history? Is this really the best candidate they had to represent? Come on Nigel, would have been better off sending the gay OnlyFans porn star.
