I think a few people were disappointed after Jake Paul’s latest boxing match was cancelled after both Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. pulled out of the fight for a variety of seemingly nonsensical reasons, but it seems as though his next fight is going to be even bigger as he’s calling out fellow YouTuber KSI for it.

Of course, KSI and Jake’s brother Logan got this whole celebrity YouTuber boxing thing going back with their two bouts in 2018, so it makes sense that Jake Paul would target KSI for revenge and the pair have been getting into it on Twitter for a while now. Jake laid out one condition that KSI had to agree to before the bout was signed and KSI was more than happy to meet it – so it looks like the bout will hopefully go ahead next year:

Looks like it’s on then doesn’t it, although you can imagine that Jake Paul will be using that line over and over again in the runup to that bout. He can be kinda funny though so let’s see how he manages to roll with it.

If you’re wondering what Jake Paul was referring to in that bit about a rapper in a t-shirt, then it’s because KSI is scheduled to fight rapper Swarmz at the O2 arena on September 23rd this year, with the winner taking the title of the first ICB world cruiserweight champion. KSI was originally meant to fight Alex Wassabi but that guy pulled out with a serious injury over the weekend and was replaced by KSI’s friend Swarmz which saw the YouTuber widely – and I guess fairly – ridiculed as Swarmz has never boxed before. Especially when the winner of the bout is going to become a champion!

KSI has justified this by saying that this fight is helping him to shake off the ring rust after three years out of the ring. Jake Paul actually offered to step in at short notice but KSI refused, so I guess the beef between them will continue until they settle it in the ring next year. Hate to say it but I’m sorta looking forward to it.
