It looks like OJ Simpson will be taking his search for the real killers of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman into the afterlife, as his family used his Twitter account today to reveal the NFL legend has passed away after a battle with cancer.
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.

Since the replies to that Tweet are off, it’s not easy to gauge what the public reaction is exactly, although you can probably guess. There’s not a lot of ‘RIP OJ’s going around, put it that way. Which makes sense, given that, in all likelihood, OJ Simpson escaped justice and got away with the literal murders of his ex-wife and her friend in 1994’s ‘Trial of the Century.’
It sucks for his friends and family and those who loved him, but the reality is that most people are probably celebrating the death of OJ Simpson today.
What would be REALLY wild is if OJ Simpson left a written or video confession to the murders before he passed away, but somehow I doubt it. What an unbelievable troll move that would have been though. Here’s hoping that his passing brings at least some peace to the friends and families of his victims.
