OJ Simpson has become something of a troll in the years since he was acquitted of the vicious murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in Los Angeles, and has this week admitted in an interview the “reason” why he doesn’t go back to LA.

Keep in mind, this interview with The Athletic was simply about him making the NFL’s Top 100 all-time list, but he managed to get on the subject of the murders anyway…

“I have trouble with L.A.,” Simpson says. “People may think this is self-serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever did it. I really don’t know who did this.”

Huh, that’s weird. It was only a few years ago that OJ Simpson said he was trying to hunt down his wife’s killers himself, but now he’s doing the exact opposite by actively avoiding LA, because he’s worried he might run into the killer? Just doesn’t add up really, does it?

OJ also expressed his surprise that no one had confessed to the killing yet, following his acquittal. I mean OJ did release a book called ‘If I Did It’ which was working with total hypotheticals of course and in no way a troll move from someone who had literally got away with murder.

“You’ve got to look to learn,” answers Simpson, whose NFL and Screen Actors Guild pensions are shielded from the civil judgment. “I figured eventually somebody would confess to something, you know?”

OJ even lets the people know how good he’s got it in life…

“How many Americans, even today, wouldn’t like to live my life?” Simpson asks. “I don’t work. I play golf four or five days a week. I go out to dinner a couple of nights with friends. People want to buy me drinks. I’m always taking pictures with people. Ladies hug me.”

That does sound like a pretty sweet life to be fair. Except the part about spending 9 years in prison (for robbery and kidnapping) and having to live with the fact he murdered his own wife and another innocent person. Other than that, who wouldn’t like to live OJ’s life? Let’s just hope he’s able to make it back to LA in the future and doesn’t run into the real killer. That would be upsetting!
